Mission Hill is home to the Father Lacombe Chapel Provincial Historic site and Alberta’s oldest surviving building, built in 1861. Bilingual interpreters will take you on a tour of the Chapel and Mission Hill. The tour includes 1861 log Chapel, the Crypt where Father Lacombe, Bishop Grandin and Father Leduc are buried, the grotto and the historic cemetary.
